July 6th sees the start of the Ibex Film Club. This is a new initiative and we hope for success especially with the cost of travel spiralling through the roof.

Booking will be required as we have limited spaces. We are starting with The Golden Compass and hope to expand the films we show, but we can only do this with your support.

Coming soon... Premier Films see Sex in the City, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull weeks before they are released on DVD. There will be a £5.00 charge for these movies this will include a glass of beer or wine. Popcorn and sweets will be available. Pizza will be available between 6-7pm before the show starts.

The 3^rd Annual ‘Seattle Trophy’ was played out at Chad Cricket Ground with the result settled on the very last ball of the Game, the Scene was set up by The Landlord & Tony Mills with unbeaten Scores and the winning run was taken with casual aplomb!! Ending the unbeaten run of matches of the little & not so little upstarts , normal order is now restored, Tony won the man of the match award for his leadership skills though special mention is given to YOGI for his team work effort, it will go down in local folklore!! also the Football skills of Charlie what a header??, not many PINK shirts where seen at the after game Nibbles & Pimms Party!! But the men gave a good showing!! Hurrah hurrumph!!!!……..

Andy now uses locally grown rapeseed oil that is produced by local farmer Mike Cooper. The oil is great for all uses and is amongst the healthiest oils we can eat.

ALDBOURNE  BRASS BAND WILL BE  PLAYING A  CONCERT  IN THE  GARDEN OF  THE I BEX  PUB IN  CHADDLEWORTH .  The celebration was held on the evening of Saturday 31st.  Andy says "We are aiming for many more year’s to come… "
