The Ibex Inn is a true traditional English village pub
situated in the tiny village of Chaddleworth, Nr Newbury in the
beautiful Berkshire Downlands. Andy, Julia & their family will welcome
you warmly and will do their best to make your visit to the pub as
pleasant and as relaxing as possible.
If you are looking for a nice pub lunch or relaxing
evening meal, then the good traditional home cooked
food, served by the The Ibex is a must. A recent
review in the local paper
praised highly the menu, the service and the quality of the food served.
The Ibex has a large Conservatory Dining Area and a smaller restaurant
area plus an additional room available for Private Dining.
The Ibex not only boasts good pub food, but its a
real community pub. This was recognised this year as the pub was awarded
West Berks CAMRA Community Pub of the Year 2009. As well as housing the local Post Office,
the facilities
offered by the pub, include 2 bars, a meeting room with wireless
internet (Wi-Fi Hotspot), etc, plus a large beautifully kept garden which can host
BBQs, informal receptions, Hog Roasts and Weddings. |

The Ibex has been short listed in
the Great British Pub Awards. The awards are sponsored by
leading pub trade magazine, The Morning Advertiser. The Ibex
has been nominated in the Community Pub of the Year
category.
If we prove successful the winners will be
announced at the London Hilton Hotel in September. Watch

D-DAY 65th Anniversary. |
Thank you to everyone who help support
the D-Day Anniversary at The Ibex. Together with Andy &
Julia's £1.00 donation from every main meal, we've managed
to raise nearly £500 for the Help for Heroes charity.
