Turn off the A303 (from Exeter) onto the A338 SP Hungerford & Marlborough from Salisbury: stay on the A338 heading north at the junction with the A303 after approx. 10 miles, the A338 turns right, follow the A338 (Hungerford) and lose Marlborough go through Hungerford until you meet the A4 at The Bear PH, turn right along the A4 SP Newbury after mile, immediately after the Total garage, turn left back onto the A338 SP M4 & Wantage at the M4, continue north on the A338 SP Wantage, Great Shefford in Great Shefford follow the main road through SP Wantage a few hundred yards out of Great Shefford turn right up a hill SP Chaddleworth take the 2nd left turning SP Chaddleworth continue into the village; there is a war memorial just up Main Street (to the left) bear right to stay on the main road; The Ibex is just up on the right.
