On the new Newbury by-pass take the junction with the A4 to Newbury and Hungerford at the roundabout junction with the A4 do NOT take the A4, but take the B4000, which is a right turn continue on the B4000 through Stockcross and Wickham at the junction with the A338 (Hungerford Wantage road) turn right towards Great Shefford in Great Shefford follow the main road through SP Wantage a few hundred yards out of Great Shefford turn right up a hill SP Chaddleworth take the 2nd left turning SP Chaddleworth continue into the village; there is a war memorial just up Main Street (to the left) bear right to stay on the main road; The Ibex is just up on the right.
